To Snack or Not to Snack, That Is the Question

Thursday, December 15, 2011 by Mark Etinger
With so many studies out there, it's hard to determine what's good for your diet and what isn't. Some diet plans have long advocated that snacking in between meals can help you lose weight, forcing you to eat less during your regular meals. Of course a new study is showing the exact opposite of this belief! The study included 123 adult women, ages 50-75 who were overweight or obese. They were randomly assigned specific diets but were not given instructions about snacking.

The data showed that the women who had mid-morning snacks lost about 7% of their body weight, as opposed to women who ate only a healthy breakfast with no snacks before lunch lost 11%. Researchers assume that the snacking is more of a mindless activity rather than to curb hunger.

What should you take from this? The researchers agreed that if you're going to snack, it should only be because you are truly hungry and of course it has to be a healthy one. Healthy snacking isn't going to add on the calories. But just be wise about what you put in your body. Don't spend the entire day snacking and eating heavy meals at lunch and dinner. And always make time for exercise as part of your diet plan.

Personally I try to eat right and suppress my appetite with natural diet supplements.

Boost Your Metabolism Easily

Thursday, December 15, 2011 by Daniel Adler
Do you remember the days when you could eat whatever you wanted and you wouldn't gain practically anything? You can thank the fact that as a child you had a high metabolism. Well, as you get older  you lose that. Your metabolism slows down naturally but there are ways to balance it so that you are still keeping off extra weight.

Your metabolism is actually responsible for a lot of things in your body. It allows organisms to grow, reproduce, maintain structure and weight, and respond to stimuli. It is one of a trio. The other two are catabolism and anabolism. Catabolism breaks down organic matter to harvest energy in cellular respiration. This is simply a form of digestion. Anabolism uses that energy to construct the parts of the cells, such as proteins. The three together keep your body stable.

You can regulate and boost your metabolism with healthy organic substances and metabolism booster supplements. Some good things for your body to help speed up a slowing metabolism are B vitamins, magnesium, and water.

As for the diet supplements, get the ones targeted specifically to relieve hunger and regulate metabolism. You can also change eating habits and snack on healthy items. Peanut butter, nuts, fruit mixes, bananas, and other snacks in small portions satiate hunger too.

Enjoy the path to a new you!

Choosing a Diet for the New Year

Thursday, December 15, 2011 by Mark Etinger
With New Year's Eve just around the corner, may people are going to start thinking about what new diet to try. It's impossible to just tell people over the Internet what they should choose because everyone's body is different; each has different needs. But what I can recommend is a diet that reduces calorie, fat, and sugar intake, emphasizes whole grains, fruits, and veggies, teaches healthy food choices, reduces portion sizes, and includes exercise. A reduced portion size is actually going to help you with the first requirement to lessen calories. And exercise needs to be a part of everyone's diet plan, no matter what!

Don't choose diet plans that restrict or overemphasize specific foods, limit calories to less than 1,000 a day, or that require you to purchase special meals and supplements. Never choose a diet that tells you not to eat typically healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. That should be a red flag. If you pick a diet that provides already packaged meals, it's not teaching you how to make healthy choices on your own.

While many of us are impatient, you want a diet that will have long-term results as opposed to just short ones. Diets that promote lifestyle changes are typically the best. You can't just stop eating right the moment you reach your goal weight.

Sticking to a Diet This Holiday Season

Wednesday, December 7, 2011 by Jessica Gonzalez
The holidays are just around the corner and you know what that means, your diet will undoubtedly be ruined! That doesn't have to be the case this year though. Like always, you have to master the art of portion control and balance. The holidays always seem to be such a depressing time for those worried about their weight. They watch as others scoop heaps of mashed potatoes, turkey, and apple pie onto the plate, until it's practically falling off the edge. Then you pick up a small helping of plain green beans, one slice of turkey, and a fruit cup.

Let the holidays be the one time your splurge...a little bit. Like I said before, it's about balance. Let yourself have a slice of apple pie, but don't eat half the pie and cover it completely in whip cream. Have a normal portion of each dish, but don't douse it in fattening additives. Leave off all the butter on the sweet potatoes, cut the fat off any piece of meat. The holidays aren't meant to be torturous, at least when it comes to food.

It is possible to not completely screw up your diet. Plus once New Year's rolls around, you can make that resolution to go back on your diet! You can always help suppress your appetite with natural weight loss pills too. Diet supplements curb cravings and make weight loss even easier.

Monday, November 28, 2011 by Daniel Adler
Winter is coming. That means you are not going to be as happy to go for your morning jog. You're not going to want to go outside and get your routine exercise. Diet Testimonials Mean Products You Can Trust

Monday, November 28, 2011 by Mark Etinger
If there's one thing we are all wary about when trying that new diet fat burner or other products to help us boost metabolism and lose weight, it's whether they actually work and if they are going to cause any other problems.

That's why you often look up reviews of other users. That goes for any product. You won't buy lipstick that isn't highly recommended, or a television that people complain breaks a lot. Why would you just go out on a whim to buy something you are actually putting in your body, if you don't even know if it'll work properly?

This is why diet testimonials are so important. You want to know that people have lost weight on the products you are looking for. You want to hear real people talk about real experiences.

So before you pick anything up, do your research. See what others say. You'll find the perfect  choice for you on Lab 88's site because they have plenty of testimonials to back up their products.

You'll get the results you want with the right products that will work for you. Because you don't have time to waste on other things that may just not work!

Take a decent sized serving so you're satisfied but not stuffed. If you need seconds you won't feel as guilty. And yes, you can have dessert.

If you overate then the next few days you may be questioning your use of common sense. Your digestive system, liver, and other vital organs are working overtime to clean toxins from your body. what you can use is a body detoxifier to help restore these organs to full function.

Keeping Your Diet This Thanksgiving

Wednesday, November 23, 2011 by Mark Etinger
When it comes to the holidays, nothing can be more dreadful for your diet than Thanksgiving. It's the biggest meal of the year and you feel obligated to have a bit of everything so you don't insult the cooks. Maybe your family likes to push seconds, even thirds on you, and then bring out the huge plates of dessert. Brownies, cookies, pies, cakes, and the one healthy sampling of fruit.

To keep from ruining your great diet run this Thanksgiving, you need to watch what you eat and stick to the best options. Turkey and stuffing is fine, but keep low on the carbs and try to pile up more on the vegetable sides. No, sweet potatoes don't count! Stick to the corn, string beans, and cranberry sauce. Take one serving and don't feel forced to take more.

With dessert, go for the healthier options. A small slice of cake is ok but serve yourself and don't let anyone else drop too much on your plate.

Don't leave your diet fat burner at home, make sure to bring it with you and take it before the meal so you can be ready to take on the calories.

Personal Trainer Gains 70 lbs To Help Clients With Diet

Thursday, November 17, 2011 by Mark Etinger
Personal trainer  Drew Manning gained 70lbs over several months to try to empathize with his clients who told him that he didn't understand what it felt like to be overweight. So in order to really get an idea, he has gained these extra dozens of pounds and is going to try to lose it all on his own weight lose regimen. And then he wants to take that routine and have his clients use it, using his own weight loss not only as proof, but as a way to show them that he understands how hard it is to lose.

It's a pretty smart idea and a good way to get that connection between client and trainer. Everyone wants to feel like people understand their situation! When it comes to your own diet, including colon cleansers and pills to  help boost metabolism can really make the whole process easier.

Maybe you can't afford your own personal trainer, but having these tools at your disposal in conjunction with eating right and moderate exercise, you could find that you have the same kind of results. It's all about discipline! Picture yourself 70lbs lighter and it can really happen!

Dr Pepper Has New Diet Soda... For Men!

Wednesday, November 16, 2011 by Mark Etinger
Dr. Pepper has recently introduced a diet soda that they aren't catering to women. In fact, it specifically says it is NOT for women, but men instead. Dr. Pepper Ten is only, you guessed it, ten calories. The advertising itself is aimed towards men trying to watch their calories but who still want to drink soda. The packaging is aimed at the male gender as well, in a gunmetal grey with silver  bullets.

It seems Dr. Pepper thinks men won't drink diet soda if it's not particularly targeted at them, asi if it's just for women only. And while watching weight always comes off in society as a "woman" thing.

Truth is, men should be watching their weight just as much as women do! It's important everyone stay fit and count calorie intake. So maybe having a diet soda that appeals to men isn't such a bad thing! Though it's best to cut soda out of a diet completely. If you can cut it out and add in a diet fat burner to help then you'll be doing as twice as much good for yourself!

Effects of Lowering Total Fat and Increasing Fiber in Diet

Wednesday, November 16, 2011 by Jessica Gonzalez
New research indicates that lowering the intake of total fat and saturated fat and increasing the intake of fiber in a child’s diet, results in significantly lower fasting plasma glucose levels and lower systolic blood pressure. Participants in the study, which was accepted for publication in The Endocrine Society’s Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism (JCEM), were first evaluated as young children and the re-evaluated in young adulthood, after they had implemented these dietary adjustments.

A diet that is high in total fat and saturated fatty acids as well as refined grains is associated with a greater risk of metabolic syndrome, a cluster of metabolic abnormalities which includes abdominal obesity, low levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (“good cholestoral”), higher levels of triglycerides and blood glucose, and elevated blood pressure. The conducted research assessed in the young women the long-term effects of a dietary intervention to reduce fat and increase fiber intake during childhood.

Researchers evaluated 230 women between the ages of 25 and 30 years, who participated in the Dietary Intervention Study in Children (DISC) nine years prior to the current study. DISC was a study of reduced-fat dietary intervention; it tried to limit overall fat intake to 28% of daily caloric intake and increase dietary fiber intake by supporting the consumption of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. This follow-up study was done to determine the long-term effects of the intervention.

How Losing Weight Can Help Diabetes

Monday, November 14, 2011 by Mark Etinger
Diabetes can stem from a lot of things. In take of sugar, if it runs in the family, as well as weight. It's true that the more overweight a person becomes, the higher the risk of diabetes. But it's also true that a loss of weight can help, if not in some cases cure, diabetes.

There have been many cases where a person has worked hard and used a diet fat burner and lots of exercise to lose weight and become more fit and within their appropriate body mass index, and have found that their diabetes has lessened in severity or for some, gone away completely. And that's a huge sort of relief to have. After all diabetes is life threatening, tedious and expensive to care for,  and something no one wants to have to suffer through.

That's why it's important to buy the best metabolism booster and work your way to a better body and a healthier life. One that could very well be diabetes free. Think about how much mroe you could do with yourself and how much less you'd have to worry every day. That's a huge load off, both physically and mentally!

Athelete Drew Brees has spoken about being on it, as have big celebrities like Gwenyth  Paltrow and Victoria Beckham. Weight Loss Pills Will Help You Fit Into That Sundress

Monday, November 7, 2011 by Mark Etinger
Every woman loves a perfect sundress. When it clings in the right places and is flowy in other places and just looks like you are ready for the sunny days of spring and summer, it can be the best piece in your wardrobe. But winter time can cause people to gain a bit of weight since we are less active and prone to eat more. But if you include safe effective weight loss pills into your diet program, you may find yourself wearing that stunning dress soon.

There's certainly no substitute for a healthy diet and a good amount of exercise, but it doesn't hurt to have a little boost to your metabolism and effectively block your body from absorbing certain fats. And when you find the right weight loss pill for your body, you should make sure to schedule it in to your daily routine. Take it with breakfast in the morning or dinner at night, or bring them with you during lunch. Whenever you feel you'll remember is the best time to take them.

So don't hide that beautiful dress in the back of your closet this year. Take it and try it on and let it be your motivation. With a great diet, before you know it, you'll try it on and it'll be that perfect fit.

How Outside Support Can Help You Stick to Your Diet

Monday, November 7, 2011 by Mark Etinger
You've made a schedule for yourself and a dietary plan. But it can be really hard to have the motivation yourself to stick to it. That's why bringing in someone else to support you and remind you of what you need to do is a great way to be held accountable for your actions. We all need someone on top of us from time to time.

If you live with another family member or spouse, let them know your plans. Tell them how often you want to work out, what diet you are trying to follow, if you need to take diet pills every day, and any other changes to your routine. If they can remind you in the morning that you need to work out or keep you from eating something you shouldn't, it'll make things easier. Afterall, they can be that extra push to keep doing what you need to.

It's even better if you can find support from someone else trying to lose weight. Keeping each other on track with your exercise routines and making sure you are taking your daily diet fat burner is going to help tremendously. It's always good to relate to someone else who is struggling through the same thing. And then you can both revel in your weight loss as it progresses!

When Advice Is Wrong, Diets Will Fail

Tuesday, September 27, 2011 by Jessica Gonzalez
After starting a diet, it's very easy for many people to relapse and eat that jelly donut for breakfast instead of the oatmeal. But it's not just because of a lack of willpower. Part of it is that we have unrealistic expectations and we're not getting the right advice. Everyone is looking for that quick diet fix. We want to see results in a matter of weeks, not months and when we don't see those results, we give up. It's not because you're doing it wrong, it's simply that the body can only burn off so much at a time.

Everyone's body is also different and so is his or her metabolism. There is no magic number for how fast you will lose weight. Even two people doing the same amount of diet and exercise will lose weight at different rates. But even when you do give people a more accurate picture, many are far less motivated knowing that it can take up to a year to see a significant difference.

Unfortunately people realize that they need to have the willpower and motivation to stick with a good diet and exercise. You just can't have that quick fix and expect it to work.
