Penis Size Matters

Many men are unhappy with their penis size, just like many women are obsessed with the size of their breasts.  In 2008, over 300,000 breast augmentation procedures were performed.  But unlike breast augmentation, penis enlargement surgery is not a sure success.  In fact many men who have suffered through the tremendous pain with surgery were not even happy with the end results.

First let’s understand what a “normal” penis size is. Studies indicate the following common male penis size both flaccid and erect:

·         Average penis length (flaccid/not erect):

o        from 3.4 inches to 3.7 inches

·         Average penis length (erect):

o        from 5.1 inches to 5.7 inches

The variation in penis size in terms of appearance tend to be much greater amongst flaccid (non-erect) penises than of penises when they are erect. Since the majority of men see other penises when they are not erect (think locker room) it can appear as if there is a big difference between the penis sizes of men.  Thus some men may be likely to assume their erect penis is much smaller when compared to others.

The results of a study reported by the American Psychological Association are found below:

The media equate a man’s penis size with his power and masculinity. Views about

penis size were assessed in an Internet survey of 52,031 heterosexual men and women.

  • Most men (66%) rated their penis as average, 22% as large, and 12% as small.
  • Self-reported penis size was correlated positively with height and negatively with body fat level.
  • Whereas 85% of women were satisfied with their partner’s penis size, only

55% of men were satisfied with their penis size, 45% wanted to be larger, and 0.2% wanted to be smaller.

  • Satisfaction did not vary across age groups from 18 to 65.
  • Men reporting a larger-than-average penis rated their appearance most favorably, suggesting a possible confidence effect of perceived large penis size.

Dr. Ira Sharlip, clinical professor of urology at the University of California at San Francisco and president of the International Society for Sexual Medicine quotes: "We equate masculinity and power with penis size. Of course, there's really no relationship."

Furthermore, exercises claiming penis enlargement are not recommended because it has been found that the penis stretching exercises are incredibly rigorous and can cause tissue damage or broken blood vessels.

So what is a man to do?  Try a natural herbal supplement for male sexual enhancement formulated with time proven ingredients (sometimes these herbs have been used for centuries).
