History of Strivectin-SD from Lab88.com
StriVectin-SD from Lab88.com was originally
developed to repair the dermatological damage associated with
stretch marks. The sample test bottles had been labeled "for
topical use only" with instructions for use on stretch marks.
As samples were passed from the test audience to friends and
family, it began to be used erroneously on face and neck areas.
The feedback to StriVectin-SD from Lab88.com
as an effective product for facial and neck wrinkles was unexpected
but quite spectacular.
Test samplers had sent in testimonials as to
the products effectiveness reducing the appearance of facial
wrinkling and crows feet, The question remained could these
testimonials be proven out scientifically.
Follow-up studies on Strivectin-SD from
Lab88.com:
At a meeting of the 20th World Congress of Dermatology
in Paris, France, held Tuesday July 2, 2002 a series of studies
detailing the key active ingredient in StriVectin-SD from Lab88.com,
Oglio-peptide (also known as Pal-KTTKS) were presented. Studies
showed support for the superior wrinkle-reducing properties
of patented oglio-peptide (called Pal-KTTKS) versus retinol,
vitamin C, and placebo, on photo-aged skin.
In the trials, subjects applied the patented
peptide solution to the crows' feet area on one side of the
face, and a cream containing Retinol, Vitamin C, or a placebo
to the other side. Subjects in the Pal-KTTKS/retinol study applied
the cream once a day for 2 months and then twice a day for the
next 2 months. Using special image analysis, the study's authors
reported significant improvement in wrinkle depth, length, wrinkle
volume, and skin roughness for those women using the peptide
solution.
At the 2-month halfway point, the peptide solution
thickened skin nearly 1.5 times faster than Retinol, and without
the inflammation Retinol often causes in sensitive skin. As
was expected, the results of the remaining studies confirmed
that the Pal-KTTKS solution's effectiveness at reducing fine
lines and wrinkles far exceeded both vitamin C and placebo.
In another independent study conducted in the
United States, dated 2003, 93% of the subjects tested experienced
significant reduction in stretch mark depth, length, feel, color,
and texture.
Advantage of Strivectin-SD from Lab88.com
versus Botox:
Dr. Nathalie Chevreau, Director of Women's Health
at Salt Lake City based Basic Research® says many researchers
believe less invasive cosmetic alternatives are better than
Botox (Botox® Cosmetic) because it lends itself to gradual,
continual results, while the effects of injections, facial peels,
and dermabrasions wear off. Dr Chevreau further states you will
never look better than you do shortly after the inflammation
and redness subside. Not one bit better.
Dr. Chevreau continues, Botox has been approved
by the FDA for an extremely limited use --the tiny little space
of deep furrows between the eyebrows -- and can cause side effects
such as 'headache, temporary eyelid droop, and nausea. The active
ingredient in StriVectin-SD from Lab88.com, on the other
hand, has been shown to significantly reduce the appearance
of that category of fine lines and facial wrinkles, including
crow's feet that Botox treatments leave behind. |
